Be part of the Big Butterfly Count from 16 to 31 July 2011.

Butterflies are beautiful and vital to the health of our environment. Their existence is crucial yet they are in serious decline. Please take part in Butterfly Conservations’s Big Butterfly Count and do your bit to help save them.

Butterfly Conservation President Sir David Attenborough explains:

“Butterflies are one of the stars of the British countryside. But they continue to be in long term decline.”

“I urge everyone, young and old, to take part in the Big Butterfly Count to help us assess the fortunes of these bewitching creatures.”

It’s easy and fun and anyone can take part. Download your free butterfly chart, spend just 15 minutes in the sunshine, then log your sightings at www.bigbutterflycount.org

Butterflies are disappearing fast and we can’t save them without your help.
