In addition, Bug Girl uses @bug_girl on Twitter, and she is very active on Facebook.
The discussion includes why entomologists should consider blogging, and why it is important for scientists to use social media to communicate with the public. The interview took place during Entomology 2011 in Reno, NV. Watch the video below.
